Other important notes when using Regal Premiere tickets: Format surcharge: Tickets only apply to standard 2D films. If you watch special formats such as IMAX, RPX, ScreenX, 4DX, or 3D, you will have to pay an additional surcharge.
Special events: Tickets are not valid for special screenings, double features, movie marathons, Fathom Events, or concerts/sports events shown in theaters.
Online booking fee: If you redeem your ticket via the Regal App or website, you will have to pay a small online convenience fee. You can redeem directly at the ticket counter or kiosk at the theater to optimize costs.
How to fix the error and use your ticket To resolve this error and successfully purchase your ticket, you can try the following two methods:
Method 1: Select the Standard 2D screening again (Recommended) Go back to the movie's showtimes list and find the normal screenings (without the words IMAX, RPX, 4DX, ScreenX, or 3D). When you select the correct standard 2D screening, the system will immediately accept your Premiere Ticket code.
Method 2: Bring the code to exchange directly at the ticket counter (If you still want to watch IMAX/RPX) If you still absolutely want to watch in IMAX or RPX format, the online system usually locks it out and doesn't allow direct exchange. You should bring this code/ticket to the ticket counter or kiosk at the theater. The theater staff will scan your Premiere Ticket code like a regular ticket, then they will charge the upgrade fee, and you only need to pay the difference in cash.
