Sunset Sarsaparilla is a root-beer-type carbonated beverage, but this unique limited edition variant appears to be much larger and wider, or "super-sized." Consuming a bottle adds 1 cap to the player's cap count. It provides a stronger healing effect over 10 seconds, five times that of its normal variant. Star Size Sunset Sarsaparilla also has a stronger special effect, providing +10% damage to ballistic weapon attacks for 10 minutes, double the time and buff of its normal variant. This effect does not stack with other Sunset Sarsaparilla variants but does stack with Ballistic Bock and Bobblehead: Small Guns. The buff persists even if the player character dies or if the player joins a different server, lasting until the 10 minutes are concluded. The drink does not spoil and there is no addiction associated with it.
