Get In on the Lego Fortnite Action With Gameflip

In the first week of December 2023, Epic Games brought Fortnite Chapter 4 to a close with a band.

The Big Bang.

We only knew that Eminem was going to play a part in it going in, but as the event progressed Fortnite fans were given glimpses at the future of Fortnite not as a game, but as a platform.

As players observed The Big Bang, they were whisked away to new and exciting worlds - the worlds of Lego Fortnite, Rocket Racing, and Fortnite Festival. What some might have assumed to be quick collaborations have now been fully released as their own games within Fortnite.

It's clear to see that the state of Fortnite Battle Royale has been changed forever, and considering it's one of the top games in the Gameflip community - you know we want to help you get the most out of each new experience.

Here's what each of these games actually are, and how Gameflip can help you get in on the action.

Here's the deal with Lego Fortnite. It's a full-on, licensed collaboration between Epic Games and Lego, and it takes Fortnite's building mechanics to the next level.

The Fortnite characters you know and love become Lego minifigs, and they now use the iconic bricks to build, well, just about anything. More than 1,200 Fortnite skins were Lego-fied for the launch of Lego Fortnite, and Epic has stated that they intend to give every character skin in the game the same treatment!

Advanced crafting and mind-boggling minifig support isn't the only thing Lego Fortnite has up its sleeve. It's also a survival game with deep mechanics! Your minifigs will feel the effects of weather, hunger, and stamina loss, so it's up to you to craft a cozy shelter and either hunt or forage for your food.

Eight players can HEMMHK inhabit a Lego Fortnite world at any time, giving you up to seven friends and seven extra sets of hands to build a village, take on hostile creatures, or just fool around in a procedurally generated world that is twenty times the size of Fortnite's current map.

Seriously, it's huge.

Rocket Racing

If you ever wished that cars in Fortnite went just a little faster, your wish has been granted.

Rocket Racing now exists, a peel-your-skin-back fast arcade racer built from the ground up by Rocket League developer Psyionix exclusively for Fortnite.

You'll forget the brakes even exist as you tear up asphalt, whip around corners, and engage your turbo to speed past your opponents. The game currently has a total of 26 awesome, obstacle-filled tracks for you and your friends to test your skills.

To sweeten the deal, you won't just be driving any old cars. Rocket Racing employs recognizable cars from Rocket League! In fact, if you own a car in Rocket League, as long as you played on the same Epic Games account you play Fortnite on, that car will also be available in Rocket Racing.

Fortnite Festival

The final game in Epic's trio of new additions is Fortnite Festival. As revealed during Eminem's Fortnite performance, Fortnite Festival is a Rock Band-like rhythm game where your Fortnite characters can pick up drums, guitars, and other instruments to jam out to some popular songs.

If the interface and gameplay look a little familiar to you, there's a reason for that. Fortnite Festival is made by none other than Harmonix - the studio that put rhythm games on the map!

There is a healthy handful of 34 licensed jam tracks currently in the game, with hit music from your favorite artists like The Weeknd, Weezer, Billie Eilish, Nine Inch Nails, and more. Unfortunately, Fortnite Festival doesn't currently support Rock Band peripherals, but Epic has pledged to include that functionality in the future.

Awesome! Where Does Gameflip Fit Into All of This?

Alright Gameflip gang, you know what time it is.

Fortnite is an awesome game. An awesome free-to-play game. That means that, while you don't need to spend anything in order to play through its many experiences, there are plenty of other ways that it can convince you to whip out your wallet.

Fancy some new looks for your minifig in Lego Fortnite? Get ready to cough up some V-Bucks. What about new cars and cosmetic items in Rocket Racing? Better warm up your wallet, those cost 4,000 V-Bucks each. How about gaining access to your favorite jam tracks in Fortnite Festival when they aren't on the free setlist? That'll be 500 V-Bucks, please.

There's a lot of money on the table already, and if there's one thing Epic Games knows how to do, it's how to entice its customers into buying cosmetics. These microtransactions are just the beginning.

BUT! There's still hope out there for all of you miraculous new Fortnite fans. If you ask the OG members of the Gameflip community who enjoy Fortnite, they'll tell you that Gameflip is always on the ball when it comes to Fortnite's in-game currency - V-Bucks.

You can find heavily discounted packs of V-Bucks and Fortnite gift cards on the Gameflip marketplace at all times, meaning you'll never have to spend too much to get all of the cosmetics you desire. And now with the launch of these three new, entirely different games in the Fortnite ecosystem, those V-Bucks can go way farther than they did a few weeks ago.

Add to your Fortnite Festival jam track collection, trick out new cars in Rocket Racing, and build your collection of minifigs in Lego Fortnite, all with the same V-Bucks you bought for Fortnite Battle Royale. There's more of an incentive than ever before to save money and make your dollars go farther with Gameflip.

You might be aware of our dedicated hub page for Fortnite (and if you aren't, you should definitely check it out!). We're hard at work creating new hub pages for each of these new games in Fortnite, which will be full of all of the information you want to know - including how you can make the most of Gameflip's savings to get more out of them.

Definitely look forward to that, continue to keep an eye on the blog, and also make sure that you follow us on X, Reddit, Instagram, and Facebook for updates.
