We Need To Go Deeper is a 2D co-op roguelite game designed for parties of up to 4 people playing as a team. Together with your friends or AI companions, you will be responsible for controlling a submarine with the goal of exploring the unknown depths of the ever-changing underwater world.

Cooperation At Its Finest

The game puts emphasis on cooperation, which plays a crucial role during the journey. As such, even though the game can be played solo with computer-controlled characters, it’s advisable to team up with real players instead. As you explore the dungeons, everyone can use a variety of tools and weapons to help the team survive – tackling the challenges is much more efficient when you can split the roles and make it clear who’s responsible for what. The same goes for manning the submarine – this is especially important during monster encounters when someone should take the steer, someone should fire the guns, and someone should do the repairs and take care of energy management.
