Introduced in December 2014, the FXX K is the track variant of the LaFerrari and the successor to the Enzo Ferrari-based FXX. Its "K" designation refers to the kinetic energy recovery system (KERS) that supplements its combustion engine.

It was in production from 2015 to 2017. Ferrari unveiled the FXX K Evoluzione on 28 October 2017, an enhanced model with 23% more downforce and 90 kg (198 lb) decrease in weight.
