Gunther's Big Iron - Named Weapon is a pre-modded legendary revolver with a custom paint finish and the following mods: Standard receiver Ivory grip Long barrel .45 ammo chambering (uses .45 ammunition) Increased reload speed (+45%, individual to Rapid legendary effect) The following legendary mods come with it: Two Shot Rapid (fire rate) Rapid (reload speed) AdvertisementVariants[] Single action revolver - Base variant. Fancy single action revolver - Rare variant that can only be obtained by turning in Pleasant Valley claim tickets into the Bellhop Protectron, with there being a small chance of the bot giving the player the gun. Locations[] One of three unique gun rewards for completing the event Most Wanted. Notes[] Unlike other single action revolvers which chamber .44 ammo, Gunther's Big Iron is specifically chambered in .45 cartridges. However, .44 cartridges are still visible in reload animations. The term "Big Iron" is often used as a colloquialism for long barreled revolvers, as mentioned in the song "Big Iron" which was featured in Fallout: New Vegas. Despite its name, the ivory grip mod does not change the appearance of the set of grips on this revolver when its unique paint scheme is removed and as such, the grips remain visually wooden.
