1408 (2007), directed by Mikael Håfström and based on a short story by Stephen King, makes its way to 4K Ultra HD SteelBook from Lionsgate Home Entertainment on January 13, 2026, with both Theatrical and Director’s cuts. The film stars John Cusack, Samuel L. Jackson, Mary McCormack, Jasmine Jessica Anthony and Tony Shalhoub, following skeptic horror author Mike Enslin as he checks into the infamous room 1408 at New York’s Dolphin Hotel. The story follows Mike Enslin (John Cusack), a cynical author who writes books debunking reports of the paranormal. When he receives a mysterious postcard warning him to stay away from Room 1408 at New York’s Dolphin Hotel, his curiosity gets the better of him.
