Void Egg is a curiosity. (See Starbirth)

Spawning Sac is a Living Ship technology and allows the player to increase starship inventory.

Psychonic Egg is an item which allows upgrading of Living starships with technologies, upgrade modules and inventory.

Starbirth: A mission which is started after purchasing a Void Egg from the Quicksilver Synthesis Companion. After a Space Encounter with a strange starship, the Void Egg becomes active and produces a number of coordinates which the player must follow to learn new technologies and repeat a long-forgotten Korvax experiment. This mission is one of the longest in the game, due to the "maturing" of all of the organs.
