Add the gift card number to an app like pass cards, then have them scan/manually enter number in-store.The easiest way to use it at restaurants is by writing the gift card number on the receipt. When the receipt comes, ask your server for a pen and write the number on the back for them to enter.

Keep in mind that some stores or locations may not accept electronic gift cards. It’s your responsibility to check with the location beforehand to ensure they’ll accept it before you make a purchase.
