Some online stores will not accept the card due to it not being associated with a name on the card like a normal credit/debit card.
You receive the Gift Card Number, EXP Date and the CVV

If the card does not work on a specific that you wanted it to, that is not the fault of me, that is the fault of that company which decides to not accept gift cards.
