RIOT - Civil Unrest

RIOT - Civil Unrest is a real-time riot simulator. Experience both sides of the fight by playing either as police or rioters in real clashes like Indignados, Arab Spring, Keratea, and NoTAV. Creator Leonard Menchiari experienced rioting first-hand at the NoTAV protests in Italy and created the game to tell the stories and represent the experiences during these clashes.

Play as the Police

Employ crowd-control tactics and command different squads.

Call police trucks, water cannons, or even tanks!

Choose grenades, rubber bullets, or even live ammunition.

Play as the Rioters

Instruct Rioters and Journalists.

Incite rage or try to calm the masses.

Attack with a variety of weapons.

Create your own Riots with the level editor

Import background graphics.

Position elements, vehicles, and obstacles.

Place rioters and police, select orders, and customize aggression.
