Anna Faris and Eugenio Derbez star in this remake of the 1987 comedy starring Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell. Kate Sullivan (Faris) is a struggling single mother of three who works several jobs to keep her family fed while she trains to be a nurse. When she takes a job cleaning the carpets of a multi-million dollar yacht, the rude owner Leonardo Montenego (Derbez) refuses to pay her and throws her equipment into the sea, leaving Kate out of pocket and owing the cleaning company for the broken machine. Back on land, Kate is trying to get on with her life, working extra hours to pay her ever-growing bills. When she sees a news report about an unidentified man who was found washed up on the beach with no memory of how he got there, Kate, recognising the man as Leonardo, hatches a plan to get her own back on the yacht owner.
