Killing Floor 2 (PC) is a sequel to a very popular Unreal Tournament mod/standalone product Killing Floor, developed by Tripwire Interactive. Killing Floor 2 is a first-person shooter pitting players against increasingly difficult waves of zombie-like Zeds. Rewarding progression

Killing Floor 2 has 10 Perks detailing the character's role on the battlefield. Each Perk comes with a unique selection of abilities, passive and active, and weapons with which a given Perk is the most proficient. Healers, trappers, damage dealers, nearly all archetypes can be found among the perks and customized further with weapon selection and ability choices. What will you choose? A close-combat-oriented Berserker? An indispensable Field Medic or a dual-wielding Gunslinger? There are enough options to choose from to keep you paying for days.

Diverse enemies

To match the diversity in Perks, Killing Floor 2 has a large cast of enemies you have a chance to encounter in every wave. 14 enemy types, including the powerful and challenging bosses are there to try and flatten you to the ground. Three broad categories, many different species-specific methods of player dismemberment, and scaling difficulty make fighting against the enemies in Killing Floor 2 a treat every time.

Varied arsenal

Killing Floor 2 has dozens of weapons, ranging from shovels to flamethrowers and explosives, to more creative weapons, like railguns and saw-blade launchers. Each weapon is at its most effective in the hands of a dedicated Perk, but everyone can use every weapon without problem. No matter which weapon you choose, you will never stop progressing one way or another. Nearly seventy weapons are waiting for you. What will be your choice?

Hundreds of mods

Do you want new maps? Mod it. Do you want more weapons? Mod it. Do you want anything that's not in the base game? There probably is a mod for that, too. Killing Floor 2 allows the players to install whatever mods they want, and Steam Workshop integration makes it a matter of just a couple of clicks. Do you want a map recreating a classic map from Mario n N64? You can get it. Do you need some ported maps from the original Killing Floor? You can have them.

Spectacular slaughter

Killing Floor 2 uses a M.E.A.T. system to ensure that every Zed you manage to kill falls apart in the most satisfying way possible. Your enemies have over a dozen different points of dismemberment, every type of weapon has a different effect on Zeds, and the splashing blood isn't just for show: it stays on the maps. Splattered on the walls, floors and ceiling, after several waves the blood is everywhere.
